THE CUSHMAN SCHOOL'S BRAND STANDARDS AT A GLANCE

We are a single institution serving students from PK3 through 12th grade, organized into five divisions: Primary School, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and Cushman Virtual, with the Laura Cushman Academy (LCA) integrated into each of our divisions. All of these divisions operate under one unified name: The Cushman School.

Please ensure that all division names are always written with capitalized titles. In certain informal communications, it is acceptable use “Cushman” or “Cushman High.”

OFFICIAL LOGO

Our logo is a powerful representation of The Cushman School’s rich history and commitment to excellence. The central elements of the logo include:

The Bell: This iconic bell, a gift from Vizcaya that sits on our Elementary School building, symbolizes our deep roots and the enduring tradition of The Cushman School.

Olive Branches: The olive branches represent peace, wisdom, and the nurturing environment that we provide to our students. They are a symbol of the growth and harmony that are at the core of our community.

Est. 1924: This marks our founding year, highlighting our 100-year legacy of educational excellence. It is a testament to our long-standing tradition and the lasting impact we have had on generations of students.

The logo is rendered in a solid navy blue, known as Cushman Blue, which is Pantone (PMS) 541 C with the HEX code #0E406A. Our official tagline is “An Identity Linked to Excellence”.

The primary font used for “The Cushman School” and our official tagline “An Identity Linked to Excellence” is Trajan Bold. The secondary font for the establishment date “Est. 1924” is Adobe Garamond Italic.

The logo must remain in its original orientation and alignment at all times, do not flip or rotate it.

ALTERNATE OFFICIAL LOCK-UP LOGO

The alternate lockup logo features the official Cushman School logo, positioned on the left side of the lockup. This logo retains all the elements from our primary branding, On the right side, the school name “The Cushman School” is stacked above our official tagline, “An Identity Linked to Excellence.” The text is centered.

The main font for “The Cushman School” is displayed in Century Gothic Bold in Cushman Blue (Pantone (PMS) 541 C, HEX#0E406A).

The tagline, “An Identity Linked to Excellence” is set in a secondary font, Adobe Garamond Italic in Cool Gray 8.

The school name should never be abbreviated in lock-up logo.

ATHLETICS LOGO

The official name is “Cushman Athletics.” This logo is used for Athletics and P.E.-related communications.

The background should be transparent, and the cougar logo should be Cushman Blue and white. Navy blue (Cushman Blue), Pantone (PMS) 541 C, HEX#0E406A.

OFFICIAL COLORS

Our color palette includes Cushman Blue (Pantone PMS 541 C, HEX #0E406A), along with two lighter blue variations and two cool gray variations. Additional cool gray shades may also be used to complement the primary palette. White may be used when using logo on dark colors.
